Oct. 11: Kutturan CHamoru Foundation Gala 32 (CA)

Kutturan CHamoru Foundation celebrates 32 years of tuition-free cultural programming at a gala 4-7 pm at the Museum of Latin American Art in Long Beach. The event will feature the inaugural foundation Awards: the Latte Award, Galaide Award and Kutturan CHamoru Award. Attendees can also look forward to delicious food, live entertainment and traditional CHamoru cultural presentation against the museum’s beautiful backdrop.

Oct. 11: 2025 Guam Society Chamorro Night (VA)
IMPORTANT: Registration deadline is Sept. 24 for the Guam Society of America’s annual Chamorro Night 5-10 pm at Fort Belvoir Community Center in Virginia. Early registration is required to allow time for attendees without a DOD Military ID or Common Access Card to get access to the base - click here to submit the Fort Belvoir pre-vet application.

The event will feature:
Catered CHamoru cuisine (not a potluck) with beverages - you can bring your own beer.
Announcement of 2026 Cherry Blossom Princess and Junior Princes
Music and dancing
50/50 raffle and door prizes

Oct. 18: 1st Annual Håcha Marianas (TX)
Join the North Texas CHamoru Association for the inaugural Håcha Marianas festival 9 am-6pm at The Chisolm Trail Outdoor Museum, site of the DFW Guam Liberation in July. The event will feature cultural presentations, food trucks, vendors and workshops.

Oct. 18: 81st Guam Liberation (AZ)
Liberation festivities continue around the mainland, as CHamorus gather at Chuck Ford Lakeside Park in Tucson from 12-6 pm. Attendees are asked to bring a potluck dish and one case of water per family, as well as a canopy and chairs for your family. Contact organizers to let them know what you’ll be bringing - contact numbers are on the public Facebook group.
